Fremont is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fremont follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We went to Anantara for an Onam Sadya, and what a feast it was! When we saw the thalis arriving at the other tables, we quickly realized they were way too big for either of us to finish individually. I sheepishly asked our server if we could share one thaliβ¦ and was absolutely delighted when he said, βOf course!β It turned out to be the perfect decision -plenty to taste, nothing wasted, and a wonderful way to enjoy the feast together. And the non-vegetarian thali was excellent! When it arrived, we didnβt know where to begin!!! Every bite was delicious, and the whole experience made for a lovely Onam celebration. Sometimes, the best part of a feast is simply sharing it!

My friend and I went to this place for lunch on a Wednesday. This is a stylish ,upscale-looking, upscale-pricey:) place with friendly staff . They have a good list of wines & alcoholic beverages as well . Their menu makes an interesting read π. We are both vegetarians . We started with Jackfruit cutlets (2) with a thick sweet & tangy chutney on the side. Cutlets were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and mild. The chutney was what made it tasty ! For main course we had Kadalai curry with Sannas- very flavorful Kadalai curry ! Breadfruit palya with appam. Also great ! A creamy flavorful gravy with 4 cubes of breadfruit ( kadachakka). The tender coconut dessert was ππ€€ ! Not too sweet like most Indian sweets tend to be -mild but very satisfying, sooo flavorful and soft ! A few not-so-great points : 1. Their stone top tables are ridiculously small ! Thereβs no room to land the dishes you order !! There is NO place to put down a phone or spectacles. 2. And NOWHERE to put/hang a purse , except the floor π¬! The chairs have a curved sloped back rest - canβt hang anything ! I tried to put it behind me on my chair and it fell through the gap in the back rest ! 3. Their port

The ambience at ANANTARA Restaurant is amazing and creates a really enjoyable dining experience. I tried their Goat Potlam Biryani and it was absolutely delicious. Is definitely one of the highlights of my visit. They also sometimes surprise guests with complimentary appetizers, which is a nice touch. The servers were very friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the time I was dining. Iβll definitely be coming back because it feels like there are many more great dishes worth exploring!

Cute green themed interior with lots of plants. Would not recommend for vegetarians. They have a large vegetarian selection but I assume their non vegetarian items are better. I will be back to try the seafood. Jackfruit Cutlet (3/5): Extremely crispy and delicious crunchy exterior with with a deep red and sweet interior due to the beet filling. I was really looking forward to the jackfruit but there was very little jackfruit compared to the beet. Cauliflower appetizer (2/5): Sort of a Kerala style gobi Manchurian but with a spicy sauce and seasoning. Seemed to be covered in a rice based flour; was crisp but some parts were too hard to chew. Would not recommend. Kottu Parotta (4/5): Good flavor when fresh; more of a home style dish though l. Gulab Jamun Brulee (3/5): fun idea with the brulee crust. It had two gulab jamuns cut into halves beneath the crust. The gulab jamuns were tasty but the rabri tasted like pure condensed milk instead of an actual rabri. Chocolate Mousse Cake(5/5): They brought this nicely presented mousse cake for my birthday. It was probably the tastiest item of the meal. Super rich chocolatey and creamy.

I was here on a date night with my hubby. Being from Kerala, we were curious about their menu. We had made prior reservation for 7 pm and we reached around 6:45 pm but we were seated after seeing our reservation online. The ambience is very much green with artificial olive trees and banana tree / coconut tree wall papers etc. It's a bit small seemed but was crowded by the time our food started coming. Our server was very polite, and helpful with everything. We ordered two cocktails, one Madeira mimosa and the other Coromandel flame. The later one is very sweet that you don't want to drink it anymore. We ordered, inji puli lotus root- loved it, karuveppulai shrimp - delicious, they had one named kalan, which was a surprise as Kalan is one of the side dish we have in Kerala. I was not very impressed with this one. It was okay, seemed like a mix of cauliflower or something with garnishing cornflakes. From the main dishes we ordered, Grandma's goat curry- it was okay! Alleppey shrimp curry which was delicious, a Kochi style of cooking enjoyed it with malabar parotta. I couldn't finish the parotta as it was so heavy with ghee/oil. We did take home the left overs. It's good for any spec
